@FC - Crackling on your landline? Please read this.

Are you fed up with the on-going crackling on your landline?
Many individuals have complained in the past, but BT appear to have only checked individual properties and have not looked for the more widespread problem which has been affecting the local villages for a number of years.  In an attempt to convince them that there is a general fault  we need to provide evidence.  Please submit details to cracklingcompton@fcvh.org.uk with the following details: date and time, calling number, receiving number and comments on the quality of the call.  If you have had an unsatisfactory response to past complaints please supply brief details in your email. You can also call Ombudsman Services: Communications (www.ombudsman-services.org) on  0330 440 1614 and/or write to Customer Service Manager, BT Customer Correspondents Centre, Providence Row, Durham, DH 98 1 BT with your complaint. More details and proforma on the Neighbourhood Watch Blog

To perform a Quiet Line Test dial 17070 and select Option 2.

You can also report a fault to BT if you have not done so already by calling 0800 800 151 or following this link: www.bt.com/faults

@FC - Speeding silver car

Keep racing for the track - like Fangio

I have received an email about a small silver car with blacked out windows racing into the village, specifically on the Northend Road. If anyone sees this vehicle would they try and get the VRN (even a few characters would be helpful) and report it on 101. Thanks.

@SOU - Sow on the loose

Hello

We need your help we have received a number of calls regarding a sighting of a pig in Knightcote and now Bishops Itchington over the past two weeks. Today we spotted the pig which is a large Kunekune Pig (she is beautiful) in a few fields away from Christmas Hill Farm.

Please could you help me to identify the owner as we are concerned for her health now and her safety on the roads?

Kind regards

Katrina
